Public Relations Committee

The Sts. John & Paul Public Relations Committee is a liaison between the community news media and parish groups that seek public relations and publicity. The Committee's role is to assist in writing news articles and sending them out to the appropriate news media to help a parish group meet its goals.

What types of news should be submitted through the PR Committee?

At this time, the PR committee is focusing on significant events that impact our Parish community as well as the community at large.  Some examples include:

  • Ministry Events
  • Awards and recognitions
  • Special activities
  • Alumni success
  • Human interest stories

Please use the Public Relations Media Request Form to provide us with as much information as possible. 

The form can be e-mailed to the PR Committee chairperson: Lalpro@verizon.net.  Please remember to save a copy on your computer before emailing it, for your own reference.

If you would prefer to hand write or type the information and fax it to the committee, that is acceptable also.  The  fax number is  (615) 827-9910.

Within 48 hours of submission, you will receive a response from a committee member.  Additional details or clarifications may be requested at that time.
